Evan here... I got an email from a friend the other day who was driving past the intersection of West End and Broadway here in Nashville, telling me I almost owed him a new bumper. Apparently he was heading into work, looked up and saw my giant head hovering over the intersection with a bunch of workmen ironing out my face, and nearly rear-ended the person in front of him. That's funny, but after thinking about it, what's even funnier, is that a long time ago I had it in my mind that the day I saw my face on a billboard would be the day that I realized I had "Made It," and here I was almost causing motor vehicle accidents. I find it funny, mostly since after almost 2 decades in this business, I consider simply being able to do what I love as "Making it" these days. The rest is superficial, regardless of how fun it can be. I love what I do, and I love having been able to do that since I started out just out of college so long ago. Just for fun, I'm including three of the 4 billboards I've had over the years. The missing one was a 2GE+HER billboard that was seen driving around New York and LA during the premiere of that movie, and the pic I had of it burned in a house fire back in 2005. If anyone reading this has a pic of that I'd love a copy! The first billboard, was in New Orleans, and was actually the first Modeling job I've ever had. What you don't see in this pic are the red ants crawling up my shorts. That week was a bad one. Cheers!
